Hiking
Good hiker or simple amateur, Chablais offers a multitude of hiking trails in mountains. Thollon les Mémises and Bernex, also offer an exceptionnal view on the Lake of Geneva.
Not forgetting the famous GR5 trail, from St Gingolph, for the most experienced hikers.
Road and mountain biking
Enjoy cycling routes on Plateau de Gavot, over Evian. In Switzerland, from Le Bouveret, you will ride on quiet routes in the « Petite Camargue » and along the Rhône river.
Fans of bike descents will hurtling down mountain biking pathes of « Portes du Soleil », the largest mountain bike area of Europe.
Water activities
The lake is an ideal place to practise several activities, specially at Evian : paddle board, canoë, sailing or boat rental.
You can enjoy simply of water fun on the nearby beaches.

On the Dranse river, enjoy a rafting descent on a course of 7 kilometers, upstream from Thonon.
At Evian, come to practise golf on the famous 18-hole course. You have also a spa center for relaxing.
Culture et heritage
You will discover historical richness of the region, visiting the medieval village of Yvoire, Ripaille Castle at Thonon or Chillon Castle at Montreux, the most historic monument visited in Switzerland.
Set off to discover Evian, spa city from long time with his faboulus « Palais Lumière », where you can see several exhibitions.
Natural sites
You will be amazed discovering « Gorges du Pont du Diable » in the Chablais Geopark and also the splendid Lavaux vineyard, on the swiss coast.
These sites are classified as UNESCO world heritage.
Gastronomy
Region of Leman hold a rich variety of flavors. During your stay, you will taste some savoyard food specialities.
These one asociating premium-quality cheese and salted meats or fishes of the lake. In Switzerland, in addition to cheese, the country is a must for chocolate, particularly with the Cailler factory at Broc, next to the medieval village of Gruyères.

In case of bad wheather, you will have lot of things to do like the visit of Evian water bottling plant or the Salt Mines of Bex, in Switzerland.
The aquatic complex of the Cité de l’eau in Amphion offers some swimming activies to practise.
